The journey of Christie Beeslaar within CPI is one of inspiration and one that assures the saying that “A friend in need is a friend indeed”. Here is his story;
January 2010, I had lost everything that was dear to me. My business failed and I was at my last straw. The question I kept asking myself was ‘Where to now?’. One day visiting my best friend at his office, Renier Cronje, the first thing he said to me was; ‘I think you should come work for us’. I started working at CPI the 1st of February 2010. It was a wonderful day. I started off with a small company as my first client, and that was the start of big things for me.
I worked for CPI for over three years, when I felt I was ready for a change. I wanted to explore the corporate scene and what a journey that took me on. I started working for a company called Ecolab. My accomplishments within Ecolab was remarkable; Salesman of the year in South Africa for 3 years, Salesman of the year in MEA for 2 years, and Salesman of the year Global for 1 year.
In November 2017, working for Ecolab for just over five years, I had a sit down with Lize Labuschagne. She had a conversation with me about joining CPI again. I didn’t need much convincing to be honest. I knew that the time was right for me to join this dynamic team again.
Eight years ago, I joined CPI with very little to offer as I was in a bad spot in that time in my life, this time around I know I have a lot more to offer.
At CPI we have a little saying that you will always be part of the family, no matter where your path leads you. We always hope that whether you stay or go, you are a better and stronger person, ready to take on the world. We believe Christie is such a good example of this.
Hope his story inspires everyone that even when you fail, the journey doesn’t end there.
