Last week CPI Varsity had the privilege to attend and present at the South African Human Resource Universities Forum, in Cape Town, organized by the South African Board for People Practices (SABPP).
The Forum was a place where HR lecturers from different accredited institutions could share their challenges and deliberate on common solutions.
Our CPI representatives at the Forum, Keamo Makatu and Mosa Wesi, were both impressed at the other attendees’ passion for what they are doing in their different fields of expertise and came back inspired. Mosa said that the SABPP CEO, Mr Xolani Mawande, positively impacts people directly and indirectly linked to him. Where Keamo said that conversation with the SABPP Management were one of those moments that reminded her that ‘iron sharpens iron’.
Furthermore CPI Varsity is more determined to widen the skillset and knowledge of the students we encounter every day.
The Forum was a great reminder that education is key!
